POLL!

I had my surgery on Sept 19th and still have a jp drain and g-tube. I go to the dr. on Thursday to have them both taken out. Dr. says mine are in so long because I was a revision patient and also during the surgery he found that my stomach and liver had attached itself to my spleen. They got everything seperated and the bleeding stopped and everything is okay now. Just can't wait for the drains to come out.

I had my surgery on 9/29/05. I had no drains or staples. I had 6 incisions. My doctor said I have desolvable stiches on the inside and I have steri strips on top.

I had surgery on 9/12/05 and went home on 9/14/05. I had my drain removed before I left the hospital. I had lap, no staples, just steri strips. Had gallbladder removed as well. Lots of bruising, no pain. Had 3 week checkup 9/30/05, next appt. in 6 weeks.

I had Lap RNY on 9/9/05...I had no drains and no staples..I saw the dr a week after surgery and he took the "bandaids" off my incisions...everything is healing well (Thank God) Linda
