1st Post-up appt. - Happy gal!!

Hello there, I just wanted to let you all know that I had my follow-up appt. yesterday afternoon and am well pleased. I was really worried that I had not lost maybe 5#...I just didn't feel it, ya know? Well, it turns out that I lost 17#!!! :jump I am so psyched by my results. I was soooo worried that I'd mess this weight loss attempt up too. I also had my staples and drain tube removed. The tube didn't hurt a bit, surprising but the staples! OUCH, felt like a small animal kept biting me! I think that was just because my skin was drying up around the staples and didn't want to turn loose. My sister said it tickled her to have them removed. Go figure... ANYway, thats my happy news~17 POUNDS~yesssssss!!!

Congrats!!! That's a good start. With my one week, I got one of my 2 tubes out, and it felt funny coming out. Can't wait till next tuesday for the other.

Great going Kelly!! You did much better than I did about avoiding the scales at home .... I check mine every morning ...just to confirm that the doctor's matches mine of course ...
