Missing YOU!

Hi all, I know you are all doing great, I can just feel it and I'm praying for you! But I'm not feeling well at all and have been MIA as you've probably noticed. I'm back to work half days through Friday when the surgeon tells me what she wants me to do for the next stretch (full or part time), part of me is hoping for part time while the rest wants the full time, we'll have to wait and see what happens though. My X just told me he won't be helping me with the children anymore because he is tired of doing it (kinda the reason he left in the first place). I haven't been cleared to lift the baby yet (he's 30 lbs and when he decides to climb up and I help him it hurts still, but what choice will I have?) I'm scared to be alone with them, I know I'm not ready for it, I'm so tired and worn out constantly. My c-pap mask isn't fitting right so I don't get restful sleep anymore either, it's like everything is taking a huge turn to the negative... Hugs to all, I'm thinking of you even when I'm not here! Rachel, I know how you feel. I have a 31 pound 2 year old myself. Everyone was going to be such a big help and then they all kind of disappeared. I am feeling pretty lonely and not feeling so hot myself. I am pretty much depending on my 9 and 11 year olds to be my biggest help. I don't have the problem with the c- pap but you should really voince any concerns or problems to your doctor. If you can financially afford it maybe you should take some more time off from work. I know I haven't been that big a help, but maybe knowing that someone else is kind of in the same boat. Hugs to you, and things will get better Christine

Thanks Christine! Knowing I'm not alone in this DOES help, feel free to email me any time... I see my pulmonologist tomorrow about the C-pap, hoping he can give me a new mask or something while Im there! I see the surgeon on Friday and will let them know how weak I am, they will then determine if I can go back to work full time or not, I have informed the boss man that I am having trouble with exhaustion and fatigue and he said they'll work with me even if the doc says I am clear to go back full days, and that they don't want me to push too hard until I can take it. Nice huh? HUGS Rachel PS I've been working half days the past 2 weeks now... at the end of 4 hours I'm TIRED!

Hi Rachel, There are different size masks for your C-pap and you should be able to get a different size. That will help tremendously. Don't forget, that with rapid weight loss our hormones are all over the place. That adds to everything we are feeling. Don't be shy..you should outright ASK your surrounding friends and family for help. DON'T wait for the offer. You also may want to tell your doctor that you are definitely not ready for full time and let him right the note accordingly. Down the line if you change your mind, you can always have him give you a new note. But at least this way you are covered. Trust me...you are NOT alone. We are here to help each other. Also, let you son get on the coach and change him there. Remind him that you have a boo boo and you CAN'T pick him up. Even if you have to tell him that 10 times a day. I pray that the Lord, will fill you with his peace and strengthen you with each passing day. Hope some of this helps. Hugs, Dawn
