I'm HOME!

I can't beleive I did it! but I'm home. Surgery was Friday morning at around 7 AM and they told my mom everything was fine at around 8:30. everything went fine.. there were a few people in my hospital floor that had the same surgery,, and I had a GREAT roomate that made the time fly. the pain was horrible as soon as i woke up from the surgery,, at that momment i was regreating it and asking to go back to before the surgery.lol but I was up and walking later on that day. every day it got a little better. I always felt better at night. and found it hard to get up off of bed in the morning, for everyone who's surgery is coming up.. WALK WALK WALK!!!!! just keep walking I was walking so much my calve muscles were sore.. but it heps soo much with the pain and the gas.... most of the pain i have is the gas. and again walking helps as soon as i start walking i start berping... I have not been hungry at all, I have to forcemyself to eat eat .. I'll keep you guys posted. the percecet is kicking in.. lol

Hi Maria, Congratulations!!!! Glad to hear that everything went well!! Welcome to the losing side. My surgery was two week ago yesterday and I have lost 29lbs so far!! That will be you before you know it!! Make sure to ask your doctor about what to do if you get constipated because that is my problem at the moment LOL!!!!! Hugs, Dawn
