Surgery in less than 24 hrs....

By this time tomorrow I pray to GOD that I will be in my room...recuperating. I am scheduled to go into the hospital tomorrow at 6:30am and surgery sometime around 9am. The doc has to drop off his kids at school so I'm assuming it'll be around 9am. At this point I did everything yesterday that I have little to do today...big mistake. Your prayers will be kindly appreciated for those of us going through surgery tomorrow. I'm nervous....anxious....SCARED....but I'm sure I'll be okay. Had gallbladder surgery 8 yrs ago and I hope this surgery is as uneventful as that one was. Thanks!

Don't worry, everyone is nervous and scared, but it will be behind you before you know it. Don't think too far ahead. Focus on whatever small obstacle is right in front of you. Praying the Lord keeps you safe and calm,,,,it'll be over before you know it! I found the anticipation was worse than thte surgery,,hope it is the same for you. God bless you,,,

Good luck Mayra. I am going in on Tuesday am 7:30 and also going through all the OMG feelings. I had my gallbladder out, it was an open not Lap. Hopefully this one goes better. Come back on the site and let everyone know how your doing. Remember there is alot of us here for you. donna

Hi Mayra, I am praying that God bless you with a peaceful heart, no nervousness, no 2nd guesses. Be at peace, the doctor's know what they are doing, prayers are going up, you're young and healthy~it should be a breeeeze!
