9/08/05 Post-ops - Help!

Hi, I was curious to know who else had their surgery the same day I did. I had mine 9/8...and am still sore, VERY tired, and feel like a slug. I am walking about 1/2 mile each day with my dogs, but little else. Getting 60-80 g protein in with Nectar, Unjury protein drinks, taking GNC multivits 2x/day, & B12. Supposed to start pureed today, but nothing sounds good except my drinks. I feel like I am behind the eight ball, I would expect more energy than this at 2 weeks post. I change the laundry and fold a load, and lay back down for a nap. Ugh! I am used to working 2 jobs and going constantly, this is so new for me. How are all you doing? Hi Denise, I too had my surgery on the 8th. I am having the exact same problem. I am exhausted by noon :*( You are doing great with your protein! I am struggling with it a bit, but I am at about 50 grams a day. Do you like the Nectar? I thought about ordering some of that. You are doing great! It is nice to hear from someone else from the same day Have you been tracking inches lost too? I have and I am excited about it. I have lost 17.5 inches so far and 24 pounds. Hi Denise i had my surgery on the 7th is that close enough? i to am sleeping alot am not used to that kind of life style, i asked my Doc. yesterday about it at my 2 week check up he said it's the bodies response to trauma becouse we heal best when we are asleep. You are probly sleeping more becouse you were already tired before surgery (from work and stress over surgery )and now your body is taking advantage, so keep drinking, sleeping and healing.Enjoy the rest it will be over soon then we must get to buisiness of being losers.
