One week post op- not feelig so great
Christine,
Are you walking? If you have a temp or continue to feel bad : CALL THE DOCTOR. I know we all react differently to the surgery, but Lightheaded and dizzy could be a number of things: I am blond so that descibes me anyway, but less than a week post surgery, I too get lightheaded and dizzy and must make sure I am walking safely, drinking enough water and trying to get protein from liquids as my doc put me on a liquid diet. I mean today's food was a littl bit of low fat yogurt and some broth.. Plus some protein drink and not quite a liter of water.. yeah, I know need more water and protein. Believe me it does get better. You are in my thoughts! J
Hi there!
I also just had the surgery on the 15th, been home just a few days and I also feel lightheaded, dizzy, sometimes sick to my stomach. What I was told that it most likely is from the anestesia from surgery, sometimes it takes a while to get it back together. Keep trying to walk around the house and then rest, drink the fluids. We will be feeling better soon. Good Luck to you. Connie in Wa State
Hi, I had my surgery on the 8th. I was really light-head OFTEN, and my mom read my pain medication and light-headed is a side effect. So, maybe it is from some medication? Just sip all day long if you are still on the liquid diet. That is what I did....just so I wouldn't get dehydrated. Feel better vibes coming your way
