I am 15 days out of Lap NY. I was in the hospital 5 days so I have only been home 10. I had breathing trouble after surgery. My lungs partially collapsed and it took some time for me to get my oxygen level up again. I am feeling pretty great but still weak and tired. I am taking vitamins but I still seem warn out. I think I might be doing to much. I am trying to get out and walk as much as I can and I just started graduate school. The doc had me on a liquid diet before surgery and I lost 9 lbs. and I have lost another 15 since surgery. So 15 lbs in 15 days.. Have people experienced this type of weight loss right after surgery? Would love to hear...I am wondering if this is why I am warn out.. Lisa S.

Hey Lisa, I don't know what specificially it is that is wearing you out, but I have been worn out also, your body has been through a lot these past 2 weeks and you need rest as well as walking. You are going to be just fine, there is usually a period of "i don't wanna move" post-op, and you've probably just hit it. HUGS Rachel
