I'm Home

My surgery went well. However, I had a little complication afterwards, my blood pressure was 199/100 and refused to go down. They worked on me until 11:00pm and finally sent me to the step down. I came home on Sunday night. I have so much gas pain and GAS-X is not working. I'm going to start walking more today as I'm feeling a little better. I'll be fine once the gas pains subside.

Hey Dee, I'm glad to hear you maade it through your surgery successfuly. I've heard the gas is a mean bugga. Just try and walk as much as you can and get your rest. Kwheen

Hi Kwheen, surgery itself was not bad, all I remember is the anesthesiologist saying that he was going to give me a little something to relax me and next thing you know it was over! I stopped taking the pain meds today so I'll be more alert to walk.

Hi Dee... Good to hear you came thru ok (after the blood pressure scare). And I'm glad you are home. I'm assuming the pain I have may be gas pain, too. I never really heard anybody talk about it before, until today. Where is yours and how does it hurt? Maybe that's why I feel like I've been kicked by a mule. Hmmmm...but I am glad you're doing well. Hi Peggy, the pain radiates from my stomach to my back. It moves around. I feel better after I burp, however, I'm not doing a lot of that just yet. It's very uncomfortable and my stomach is stiff and distended. Hope I didn't give you too much gross details. Everyone says to walk so I tried more walking today and it helped. I'm going to walk even more tomorrow. I'm happy that you're home and that your surgery went well.
