Hi Kelly... They told me two days too but I was doing well enough they kicked me out a day early. But that's ok because I was going crazy. I was tired of being hooked up to beeping things and poles and wearing that lovely gown. Yikes. I bet you'll do great and the best thing I did was get up and move around that second day. It helped me feel much better (so did getting that catheter out!) I'll be thinking you on your surgery day! Peggy

Has anyone realized that we won't need to move over for more people to join us on the losers bench in a year? There will be people sized spaces between us because of all the weight we lose, isn't that just kinda amazing to think about? I mean, here we are with our whole discomfort in breathing right now and in a year we're going to be normal looking feeling human beings and able to sit in theater seats... mind boggling... Hugs Rachel PS Peggy, sorry for that, glad you're home and safe! lol

I'm SOOOOOO looking forward to theater seats... or how about movie seating without the arms that fold up so you can sit with your but hanging over 2 or three seats? lol... I'm excited, we're great losers already right? Oh, I am wearing a dress that was "fitted" before surgery, it's bagging in the front and a little on the hips already, I'm soooo happy!!! HUGS! Rachel

Congratulations Peggy. Wow ! One day. I was told I would probably be in for 4 to 5 days. I finally got my date Sept. 28th pre op testing this monday.. Hubby gets to babysit my grandson for a couple of hours. (give him some practice for when I'm in the hospital ) Sandy

Hi Sandy... I think it all depends on the surgeon and the hospital. He had told me it would be 2 days but I got out early...thank goodness, I was ready to go. I'll be thinking of you (and praying for your hubby and the grandson ) on the 28th. Peggy

Hi Jana... Thanks for your kind words....made my day. And yep, Oscar is a stinker. He has let me know several times that things do not make him happy. He loathes cold water....must be room temperature. (kinda snotty, huh?) What's really funny is I catch my husband asking me how Oscar's doing, too. Cracks me up that I'm not the only wierdo in the house. Keep your head up and you'll do great next week. I'll be praying for you and make sure to keep us posted. We have a spot saved for you! Peggy
