I"M CONFUSSED ABOUT SOUPS. HELP!!!!!!!!

What kind of soup can we eat I'm having the RNY. So they say puree soup or cream of soup but can it be just reagular cream of soup or does it has to be ? My surgey is Wed. Sept. 14th. Cheryl

Hey girl!!! From what I understand that we can have Cream of stuff soup. But we have to drain all the goodies out of it. Good Luck!!! Britt

Hey there Cheryl: I believe we can have regular cream soups, but they should be low fat, strained through a sieve, and made up with skim milk. Hope that helps. All the very best for your surgery. I will be thinking of you. Regards, Marion S
