Thanks for all the support and replys. I really look forward to turning on the computer when I get home each day. The pre surgery nerves are much better now. And it's true about having faith and trusting that each day is very precious. I had an appointment with my minister yesterday. She was great. She's has an on-going health problem, she has to deal with it every for the rest of her life, there is no cure, surgery or pill for her illness only things to treat the symptoms. She was so patient and understanding with me and really made a difference in how I am handling this upcoming surgery. So I wanted to share her recommendation. She told me to get a small note pad and every day I must write down 5 things at least and more if possible that I am grateful for that happened each day. She asked me to really focus more and more on the positives everyday. After meeting with her yesterday I the best day I've had in the weeks since I scheduled my surgery. I smiled and enjoyed the evening with my husband. And today the sun is shinning here in California. It a beautiful cool day and I am very grateful for many, many more than just 5 things. Hope this works for somebody who has been feeling a nervous as I was. !!

Your minister gave you grate advice. I'm going to try to do that myself. Also.... I didn't think to talk to my pastor before my surgery so I think I will make an appointment with him. Great word's of wisdom!! Smiles, Karrie
