Monday is the Day

I am leaving Saturday to go to Nashville for my surgery. Does anyone have any words of wisdom of what I should take to the hopital? I am so nervous! I would love to hear from you quys that are Sept 12th as well.

Monday is my day too! I live an hour and a half away from my surgeon, so I will be leaving at 3:45am on Monday. I am taking a robe, slippers, chap stick I hear is a must, a book (though I probably won't need it), a notebook and pen, comfy jammies to wear to and from, my own pillow and the usual toiletries.

Good Luck! I will be thinking of you. My date is a week on Monday (19th). I have also heard that Chapstick is a must. Your mouth and lips will get very dry.

Best Wishes Tabitha! My date is also Monday. I live about an hour and a half fromt eh hospital and haven't decided yet if Im going to leave to go down Sunday night or Monday mornning. I am bringing: 1. Pilliows from home to be more comfy 2. Chapstick 3. My WLS books 4. A TON of magazines 5. My Camara 6. My journal 7. My MP-3 player 8. PADS.. Ive heard many women start their cycle after sergury regadless of timing Best Wish to you for a speedy recovery! Erin
