9/27/05! Any DS'ers to be here?
OH MY GOSH!!! I just got a call from Megan at the Rabkins saying that my insurance approved me! I kept asking if she was sure that it was for the DS and she said yes. I am flabbergasted!!!!! We just submitted two days ago. I feel a little unworthy since some of you have been trying for so long now and battling so hard. We still have to pay like probably $12,000 or so because I live in SD and they are in SF which is out of network. But, I am still so happy I don't even know what to say! I also have a date of September 27th with Robert Rabkin!!! That is in less than 3 weeks. Thank God! I feel like I get to push a reset button on my life. I pray that I have the strength to follow through with this new lifestyle. I have failed at all other eating plans so I am still so leary of having confidence in myself.

Not too many of us here - Linda H. went very early in the month (I think 9/2) and hasn't come back yet, and BT just took off for Brazil. I don't think any of the other Sept. Switchers have joined this board. Denise A. is next week. Can't think of anyone else being switched this month, off hand - but there may be more.

Actually, I am new to the board but I am scheduled for DS on 9/27/05!!! Great feeling isnt it? It took me 3 months to finally get my insurance company to approve me after my 2nd appeal letter! I am so scared and unsure of things right now! Trying to keep a positive attitude but I am not the type of person to just sit at home and let people take care of me! I am the one taking care of things so it is a little hard for me right now. I am sure things will be fine though!
