I am back home....

Just had the surgery yesterday morning and everything seemed to go well. We got home this afternoon. Everyone at Cy-Fair Hospital in Houston was great. I wouldn't have even minded spending one more night but I knew my hubby was ready to come home. It's definitely a big dose of reality when you are actually done. I know I will be much better once the soreness is not so bad.

hey amy, congradulations on your surgery! i will be praying for a speedy recovery for you what procedure did u have? just wondering cause your home so early!! thats great, my surgery is oct 10th now. doc said if every thing is good i could come home 2 days! I HOPE IT'S GREAT well bye 4 now Terri.

I had lap rny. I had it early enough the morning before that if I could keep everything down by lunch the following day I could go. My dr gave the option after that if I wanted to stay or not.

Amy, Glad to heat you are home and everything went ok. Hope you are feeling less sore soon. I am having open RNY in 5 days and I know I will need to stay in the hospital a least 4 days. Do you have any children? I know my baby(2) is going to have a hard time with me being gone so long. Congratulations, Christine

I'm glad to here that you guys ae doing well. Remember to get plenty of rest and try to get your liquids and prtein in. Kwheen
