I have a date!! Yeah!!

I am one of the few that didn't have to wait but a few days. I got my appointment with the surgeon on Sept. 1st and the next day got a phone call saying Monday, September 12, 2005 is my day. I got all my pre-test out of the way today and just have an appointment with the surgeon one more time, which will be Thursday. I am 66 years old and I don't know if I am the oldest out there or not. Let me hear from you. Anxious in Lake City.

Welcome! Don't be anxious, it's a waste of time, your tests are done, your date is set, you're good to go!!! PLUS you don't have the annoying wait that most have! I had to wait for a month to get off my meds safely, I could have been an August loser! LOL... But Sept 1 was my date and I'm a proud Sept loser, trying desperately to eat as much as I should and to drink enough to keep from dehydrating. HUGS, you'll be on this end soon and you're doing great. Rachel PS As for age, I don't worry about it, you're young at heart right? If you were as old as that number indicates, why bother with the surgery for health? You'd be more likely to just be so set in your ways that you wouldn't care right? So chin up, we're all the same age here, besides, Sept 12 is your new birthday!
