Hello all, I'm among the first batch of Sept 2005 losers and wanted to come on here to show you all that it's not that bad! I'm in a bit of pain, but I went into surgery with a very high pain level because of my co-morbidities, so you can't use me as a guide. Tomorrow I start eating babyfoods... I'm so excited, can't you tell? Seriously though, a protein shake sounds soooooo appealing to me, it's been 6 days now without any food for me and it feels like an eternity when I see someone eat a burger or have a milkshake, but I know it's for good, and I'm fortunate that the few around me are undrestanding enough to keep the interest level of the food they partake of down to a minimum LOL... Best wishes all!!! And I hope you have fast and uneventful recoveries!!! HUGS!!! Rachel PS If I'm not around much, be patient, sitting at a computer is still a bit physically taxing.

Congrats on your surgery. I am glad to hear you are doing so well. I hope you enjoy your baby foods. What are you going to eat? What liquids did you have for the first 6 days? Just curious as someone who is having her surgery in 2 weeks. Jill

yes, at first it is very difficult to drink... I'm up to about 24 oz a day now, I'm supposed to be at 64 oz a day... I'm getting there though. HUGS Rachel PS Saw the other messages, sorry I'm going to bed now.
