Sept 20 patients - please reply
We're all September patients, and I've received support from several of you. That is so great! Making friends with virtual strangers. So different, but so mu*****ommon. I feel there's even more of a connection, if you will, with folks who are scheduled for their surgery on the same day. If you are scheduled for Tues. Sept. 20th,
I want to know each of your names and what state you're in ... please reply hugs, Kym from Weare, NH
You've got a LOT of twins - there are 28 of you due that day! Twenty-octuplets?
Although what's funny about the way the browser condenses the list is that since it doesn't add the lines, it makes everyone's CITY look like their LAST NAME *lol*

Here are the ones I found on THIS list, which shows all surgeries scheduled for September!http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/showbymonth.phtml?Y=2005&M=09
I'm scheduled for Sept. 20th with you. I live near Waterloo, Iowa and I thouroughly enjoy the more strangers I get to know. This web-site is something I found by accident and it's the best accident I've had in a long time. Let's stay in touch and help support each other. Do you have to do 2 weeks of liquids pre-op? I have til Tues. to eat as I know it, then clear liquids here I come. It's great to hear from you!! Karen
Hi Kym,
We are all in the same boat even though we live in different parts of the country. It is wonderful to have support and know that on the 20th we will all be starting our new journey's together even though we don't really know each other. It is only 2 weeks from today and I am getting so excited, especially since I went through and looked at before/after pix's the other night till I couldn't see straight. If you haven't done that, you really should. It is very uplifting!!!! Today is the last of my testing before my surgery, I have to have an endoscopy and colonoscopy today at 2 pm. Yuck!!! I just want it over, I have been dreading it since the beginning of my last 2 month ago Dr. visit.
Anyway, we will be on the lighter side soon and we should all be so excited....by the way, I live in Bothell Washington which is about 20 miles north of Seattle. Good luck to us all.
Later, Sandy R.
I went to the hospital today ( 2 weeks pre-op ) to have my intake interview / questionnaire with a nurse. I also met with one of the anesthesiologists, and they reviewed my chart and explained everything as well. They asked questions, and they answered my questions.
I started to get teary-eyed when I was reading the list of risks of anesthesia, even though I've heard them all before. They asked me to SIGN on the dotted line. I took a deep breath and signed the consent form.
But, it's TWO WEEKS from today ... I am starting to freak -out !!!
love,
Kym from NH
