Now I'm getting excited
I am so close, 5 days left. I have been taking all the advice you all have been giving me to get things ready. I have a few more loose ends to tie up. I have my bag packed and all my post op vitamins. So many of you have taken the time to post lovely messages to my surgery page. I thank you very much

What time is your surgery? I am not untill late in the day which is a bummer as far as I am concerned I am hopeing to get in early but in all my nursing career I have never seen a case go early...
Well, my twin thank you for letting me ramble on ......May God Bless you and keep you safe...

Kwheen,
My surgeon has a very long list, or seems that way to me for the vits,
ask your surgeon to advise you on what he wants you to take..
I have chewable vits, b-12, stress b. zinc, calcum, vit c, polysaccaride iron, dry vit e
Another place to get some good samples is www.enjoyhealth.com
I have bought my protien at costco, they have chocolate and vanilla pretty tasty
especially if you mix sugarfree orangeaide with the vanilla taste like a dreamcicle...yummy

Btty...again, congrat's girl. As for me, I dont have anything ready yet. I need to get the vitamins but as far as the protein, I'm not sure what to buy. My surgeon is suggesting I pay $250 for a month supply from bariatric advantage but I dont want to buy it and then no like it. I've heard that your taste buds change after surgery so I'm kinda hesitant about buying something I won't like. What are you guys buying? Have you tried it already?
Hi there,
I just wanted to congratulate you on your upcoming surgery!!!:D Isn't it exciting? Mine is on Sept. 19 and I am about the bust at the seams. I am supposed to do a two week fast of protein drinks before surgery, so I'm starting on the 5th. Man, that's gonna be tuff but worth every second since I get my surgery!!! I just bought Flintstone type multivitamins with iron and some B-12. I don't know what else, of course I'll learn more on the 7th when I go to my Nutrition class.
Best of luck to you all who are going to be losers soon!
Blessings,
Kelly
J Bee $250 a month. They must get a cut or something. I have gotten some samples from vitalady. They are 1.99 per sample. But, at least that way, you get a chance to try different ones before you buy anything bulk. I've also bought a few from unjury. I've also heaard GNC, and trader joes have good ones too. I hope this helps you a little.
