It's finally our turn

Hello to all of my fellow Sept. surgery buddies. I was just thinking about all of us having surgery starting today. I just want to let each and everyone one of you know that you will be in my thoughts and my prayers as we go into this new journey of our lives. And for those of you that are having surgery before us come back and let us know how you all are doing. Take Care Kwheen 22 days and counting

Today, for me, it's officially Two Weeks away......and I think about the old Tom Hanks, Shelly Long movie The Money Pit, and how all the remodelers kept saying it would only take "Two weeks". Several months later, it was still "two weeks". And my goodness - look how the list grows daily of more people changing their lives this September! I'm happy to see so many people taking charge of their lives - pioneers in an age where there are few frontiers left. Many blessings to everyone for a smooth and safe surgery and recovery. --BT

It seems like it took i=is forever to get to this stage and it's like.......................................................WOW!!!!!!!!! We are starting to arrive and transform to ur new lives from here on out. The support here is awesome. That's why I love you guys sooooo. much. All o the insurance hassels, having to lose weight before surgery, ups and downs with family and friends not understanding us. Through all of that look where we are today. Changing our lives forever.Sending many ((((HUGS)))) to everyone. Kwheen

Kwheen, I am on the 12th, and have gotten over the nerves of "what on earth am I doing??? Now I am excited, and anxioius to get it over with!! I can't wait!! 10 more days!! Cheers to us!!! Sandyxoxo

What's up Kwheen, you are certainly a refreshing and supportive . Thank you gurl. I am getting closer . 5 days to go. I feel good and I am ready. I have been eating like a pig. I have to do a bowel prep starting Sunday morning . I figured I'd get dmy eat on until then. I have to work tonight, 3 in a row and then I'm off for the surgery. I hope to chat with you soon. This is all that has been on my mind. I tried to post on everyones page. I tried not to miss anyone. This is a special time, and hey if you can't get support from those closest to you . Where else can you turn for support and encouragement? Look for me to get in touch with you this weekend. Kwheen

Oh yeah. I forgot to mention the eating part. Everything that I have not been eating for the last few months..........................Well, lets just say everything that I have tasted recently has been real good. My surgeon wanted me to lose 30pds, I am down 28 soooo i feel like I deserve someof the things that made me the way that I am now. I do not feel guilty about it. Kwheen

Kwheen you are right. I spend a lot of time posting on the supoort pages for that very same reason. I know it makes people feel good when they read the nice messages of encouragement. I'll keep it up and you do the same . Ok I talk to you this weekend. Btty Boop60
