9/26/05 -- less than a month!

This is my 1st time to post here, and, actually, my cousin told me about this site today so I've spent the greater part of the day looking around. My surgery is scheduled for 9/26, and I am very, very excited. I'm not nervous or scared, but that may change as the date gets closer. Today is my 31st birthday, and, aside from the normal birthday depression, I am ecstatic to know that on my 32nd I will no longer be this heavy. Hope all is well with everyone out there!!

Tracie, Except for that fact that you're in Texas and I'm in Maryland, I'd wave to you as you will be coming into the hospital as I'm leaving Prayers for all of us September "second births" ... no complications and nice nurses Jody

Hiya Tracie. You and I have the exact same surgery date! Tomorrow is my pre-op class for four hours, then Saturday night they do my "sleep study". From there I have to attend one more support group and get all my pre op tests on the 13th. As it's getting closer, I just want to GET ON with it, ya know what I mean? That is so awesome! I had a sleep study -- well, 2 actually, and I guess I do have sleep apnea. My dr said that it should go away after surgery. My class is on the 13th! Please let's keep in touch... Take care~ Tracie
