What is the #1 thing you can not wait for after surgery?
Carrie,
There are a million things that I can't wait for but here is my short list...
I would like to have one day where I don't get out of bed and wonder if my back is going to hurt so bad that I am going to spend the rest of my day in bed.
I would like to be able to wear a pair of short in public and not be embarrassed because my legs are the size of tree trunks.
I would like to be able to keep up with my 2, 9, and 11 year old.
I would like to weigh less than my husand.
I would like it if my children could go to school and not be picked on because their mother is fat. Still not sure how it bothers more me or them?
I have a friend who is about a size 2 and has never weighed more than 10 pds over weight. Everywhere we go people are always telling her how awesome she looks while I stand there and feel about 1 in high because I have gained 170 pounds since I graduated. I don't want to feel that way anymore.
I want to be able to wear thong underwear.
I live in a very rural area with a very small mall. There are no stores there that carry plus size clothing. I want to be able to buy clothes ANYWHERE besides Wal-Mart.
I want to be a positive role model for my husband and children and show them that being fit and thin is a much healthier and happier way to live.
I want to feel confident in my marriage. I defanently married up. My husband is a very good lookin gman. I am also wondering if he is going to find a better looking person to be with and will leave me at the drop of a hat.

He married YOU, didn't he? There's more to "marrying up" than looks. He loves you now, and he'll love you when you're a skinny minny, too.
