Good idea! I am on day 9 of the 14-day liquid diet (I started a few days early) and it is soooo hard. It's not that I'm hungry, just really WANT stuff, ya know? Gotta break those habits! I'm getting very very nervous now too! You guys too? I'm more nervous about getting put under and the drain thing afterwards. Silly, huh? I just can't wait for this to all be over and be wearing a size 10! Alicia P. 294/Goal: 150

That's like NEXT WEEK. Anesthesia was easy for me last time (gallbladder). I got wheeled into the OR, the anesthesiologist said "I'm just going to insert this....." and that's all I remember until I woke up after surgery. I'd send him flowers if I could remember who it was. *lol* I'm about 35lbs behind you on both ends - starting weight & goal - so we have about the same amount to lose. You must be taller than me though. I'm a shorty at 5'.

Hi! Yeah, I'm 5'8", so a bit taller. I'll have to remember to find out who the anesthesiologist is beforehand so I can send him flowers. That's a great idea! I've had two c-sections but they only had to numb me from the waist down. But I remember, I was in so much pain with the first one (emergency c-section), that when the drugs kicked in I leaned my head back and said "are you the guy that gave me the drugs?" and he said "yep" and I said "I love you!" I am getting nervous now too. I would definitely like to know how you all are doing after surgery. I will update as soon as I am able.

Just keep thinking positive! All will go great for all of us! I'm going to go buy a pair of size 10 jeans this weekend and hang them up on my bedroom wall, to give me a little push, ya know? Although I have a lot of size 16-18 stuff that I can't wait to get back into!! As soon as I can post-op, I'll put an update on my journey page. Good luck with everything!!
