got my date/?g-tube

my date is sept 7th. i am having a g-tube put in as a precaution. my m.d. says it's because i've been a diabetic for a long time. just to use if i have any post-op problems. is any one else having the same?

I don't know what a G tube is ! I have also been a diabetic for a few years. Let me know what you find out, curious -Val
