Saturday Roll Call

Hello. Sitting here thinking that in 2 weeks from Tuesday the new journey begins.and I am really scared . Still waiting for Aetna to make a determination.................... thinking about eating something relly bad tonight, something that I won't ever be able to eat again!

Hi Gail: I too am excited, but not scared. I have my trust in Gods hands and the hands of the surgeon. I purposely selected Bariatric Center because of their speciality and the numerous surgeries that have been performed. You must feel good about who and where you are having it done. My date is the 6th also. Have you have you pre admission yet? Mine is Tuesday. They say it is about 5 hours long! What a day. And it will be the first time I am looking forward to no being able to eat. I am like you, up to now I have ate and don't think about what I am eating, knowing soon I won't have it again. I will miss my popcorn, but you know the WL will be so great! It will be worth it. God bless

Hi Btty and all, Since I'm less than a month away from surgery I'm trying to be as low carb and protein based as possible. Anyone else packing in extra protein pre-op?
