Good Morning everyone. Just wanted to stop in and say HEEEEEYYYY!!! I hope all is well. I finally got my approval last week for my surgery . I have my pre-op date of 9/8/05 for my gallbladder U/S and all of my other tests. I am so excited and nervous at the sametime, which is normal I am guessing. I started working out last week and started taste-testing some protein shakes. Even though I may not like them after surgery atleast I will know what to do. Hi Britt: I am new to this site and am just feeling my way around. I too have a date scheduled for RNY Sept 6. I go on Tues the 22nd for my full day of tests. I am going to to the Batrix Clinic in Ypsilanti MI about 100 miles from my home. What date are you scheduled for? I am a little aprehensive, but am looking forward to a lifestyle change and a slimmer happier, healthier me. My family is supportive but worry too. God Bless and hope the best for you. Janice

Hi J.K. I am scheduled for 9/12/05 and my preop is on 9/8/05. I am having my surgery at the Medical University of SC here in Charleston, SC. I am so excited and nervous all at the sametime. My family is very supportive and very worried too. Unfortunately my husband isn't going to be here. He is in the Air Force and was deployed on short notice for 3 months. I love Charleston SC. Was there on business a couple of years ago, and my hubbie and I have a timeshare at Myrtle Beach...love that state. Sorry to hear your hubbie won't be there in "body", I am sure he will be there in spirit. What a great suprise for him when he returns. Keep in touch. Janice
