Congratulations to US

Hi Btty My date is Sept 14th........getting closer everyday but still not fast enough! I'm having surgery at Washoe Medical Center in Reno the day after Laura........can't wait to meet her in person! LOL we'll be doing laps in the hallways together! My biggest fear....hmmm..........I guess I'd have to say that would be that they find something inside of me that would keep me from having surgery, what I don't know tho, so it's kinda weird. I'm most happy about all the support I've gotten from my husband and my daughter. Both of them were afraid at first, but the more we researched wls the more comfortable they became with the idea. And I have to say that my friends and church family are so very supportive, it's just awesome!

Hey Btty, My date is Sept. 19 at 8:30 a.m. I am having my surgery at North Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, MI. My biggest fear is that the weight will not come off. I am happy with life, my husband and the chance to have wls.

Hi September Buddies! My date is September 12th! I am having surgery at White Plains Hospital, New York. My biggest fear - I guess we all have the same fear here - that something could go wrong - but I'm thinking positive! I'm most happy about the prospect of finally being thin! I have been waiting for this since I was like 14 years old! This is the beginning of a new life for all of us! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See you all on the losing side! Michelle

CONGRATS TO ALL THE SEPT. SURGERY FRIENDS THIS LITTLE FAIRY IS GOING TO COME SPRINKLE SOME PIXY DUST ON US ALL AND WE WILL BE SEEING EACH OTHER ON THE LOSERS BENCH AND INSTEAD OF US TAKING UP 3 OR 4 BENCHES WE WILL ONLY BE TAKING UP 2 WOOO HOOO I AM SOOOOO HAPPY TO HAVE ALL YOU AS FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS. I TO LIKE MICHELLE AM HAVING MY SURGERY ON SEPT. 12TH AT NOON IT JUST DOESNT SEEM LIKE IT IS GETTING HERE SOON ENOUGH THOUGH HOWEVER I KNOW IT IS BASICALLY RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER BUT WHEN IT DOES GET HERE I WILL BE SAYING " OH YES TODAY IS GOING TO BE THE START OF A WHOLE NEW LIFE FOR ME" MY SURGERY IS GOING TO BE DONE AT THE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL IN COLUMBIA MISSOURI BY DR. SCOTT (HE IS A SUPER DOCTOR) MY BIGGEST FEAR: I WOULD SAY IS PROBABLY NOT MAKING IT OUT OF THE OPERATING ROOM ALIVE. I AM MOST HAPPY ABOUT: THE FACT THAT I WILL STARTING A WHOLE NEW LIFE FEELING ALOT BETTER THAN I DO NOW, BEING ABLE TO GET RID OF ALL MY MEDICATION EXCEPT FOR MY THYROID MED. THAT I WILL BE ON THE REST OF MY LIFE SINCE I HAD TO HAVE A COMPLETE THYROIDECTOMY IN "97" FOR A CANCEROUS TUMOR ON MY THYROID. BUT PRAISE GOD AND ALL THE SUPPORT FROM ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS I AM NOW COMPLETELY CANCER FREE. I AM ALSO HAPPY ABOUT THE FACT I WILL NOW BE ABLE TO WEAR SHORTS IN THE SUMMER AND NOT BE AFRAID OF PEOPLE STAREING AND POINTING AND LAUGHING AT ME LIKE I HAVE HAD EVERY SINCE I WAS 10 YEARS OLD. I ALSO WANT TO WISH EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU THE BEST OF LUCK IN YOUR SURGERY AND YOUR RECOVERY MAY GOD BLESS US ALL. CINDY
