I got my surgery date. Is there anyone out there with Lupus?

I have Lupus and I am scheduled to have surgery on Sept. 9, 2005. I wanted to know if anyone has the same illness as I do and went through this surgery SUCCESSFUL. I have a friend with Lupus, although not a WLS patient. That's a rough thing to deal with. What kind of medications do you take for it? Are you aware that you can't take most OTC medications with an RNY? Someone posted a list today of what was safe and what was off limits on the main board.
