9/1/05 Anybody?!?
I am happy for you. I know that I have made a count down list for thing to do. My biggest fear is that I will get out of surgery and recoup for a while then have nothing to do. I have packed a book, gameboy (with 3 games) and my lap top. I will go crazy if I have to lay in bed!!!!!!!!!
GO LUCK. keep posting it will make time go by faster.
9/1/05 for me too! It's a dream come true. I had a long, hard fight with the insurance, but they reversed their denial and will now be providing benefits for me, so I will be having my surgery on the first of September.
It's even more special because September 4th is my birthday...what a gift I will be getting! But no birthday cake for me!
Best of luck to everyone!

I'm scheduled for September 1st also! I had my pre-op appointment today and start my liquid diet today as well. I am still so excited, but beginning to get sooo nervous as well. But all I have to do is come onto this web site and look at all of the before and after pics or read some of the profiles and I feel so much better. I know this is going to be sooooo worth it in just a few months time!

Hello Alicia -
Right now I am soooo impatient! I am busy at work so it keeps my mind off of it a bit. It is amazing the different things each of us have to do before our surgery. I don't have a liquid diet pre but am wondering what you will be taking for this.
Take care and we are on the count down!

I changed my date, so now I'm going to have my surgery on August 25th! I am so excited, then I realized, I'm not going to be on the September board anymore! Oh no! However, I am so excited to be having this surgery finally and getting to have it one week sooner is so awesome!
Part of me regrets that I will be home and settled by my birthday on September the 4th, but hey, I will have lost one more week's worth of weight, so that will be a good present too!
The best of luck to everyone, no matter when your surgery is! The important thing is having the date and the approval!
Hugs,
Joni
