Hi there! Long time since ...

hello everyone it's been a very long time since I've logged on to this site...seems that time is no longer my own - thought I would share a few things with my september family - I do miss you all and miss being here! I've sat here for the last hour and read all the posts and you all look wonderful and sound as tho you're doing really well... OMG Barb - congratulations!!! You sound so very happy and I am very glad that you've found your soulmate...good for you! About what's going on in my life and keeping me busy - my youngest daughter came home from her study abroad in early June - I threw her a surprise 21st birthday and welcome home party the day after she came home with 60+ people in my backyard...she was very surprised...and I'm so glad to have her home. my oldest daughter Kerri is getting married on August 11! the bridal shower was in my yard (we did a "high tea" theme) on July 7th with 40+ women...everything went really well and she had a great time .. I was amazed at the amount of gifts she received...they need nothing! The planning of the wedding has been insane but with less than 2 weeks to go I think we've just about got it under control...she is getting married in Buffalo (where her fiance is from) at an outdoor wedding - I am making sure that there is some long island in the wedding! As for me...I have lost a total of 140 lbs and am at 160 lbs and in a size 10- I haven't lost an ounce in a very long time now - I am hoping that once the wedding (and stress) is over I will get back on track and start working out again..my dress for the wedding is a size 8 which shocked me!...I have met someone very special...we've been seeing each other for about 4 months now and he really is amazing...he makes me very happy and truly seems to care...we see each other every single day and if we can't he calls constantly...I don't even like being apart from him. I wasn't even sure what love was all about - I now believe I have figured it out...I can't imagine him not being around. I told him that I am going to make an appointment for a plastics consult and he told me that I'm "perfect" the way I am (I am FAR FROM PERFECT!) .. I guess maybe he loves me? Okay my time to sit and relax is over and done...need to move on to the next item on the list of things to do... I will be coming on more often once the wedding is over...Please don't think I have forgotten any of you...it's almost our 2 year anniversary! Unbelievable how fast time flies!!! Love, Linda

Hi Linda, Really time flies so fast now. Congratulations on everything going on in your life. You are truly busy. What a full plate you have going. So glad you stopped by to update us. I really can't believe it's going to be 2 years soon. Just think if you didn't do the surgery how you would have felt at the wedding. A size 8. Amazing. You did good. Enjoy! Koukla 338/176
