Send some prayers and good thoughts for my daughter...Please

Don't know if you read my PA posting. My daughter Chris is due Sept. 11...Docs say it is a Girl ! She went for her check up on Thursday and the doc wanted her to have an ultrasound done. Seems she was dialated 1 cm. She went Friday for the ultrasound and she was having contractions so they decided to monitor her. She is still in the hospital. They are giving her meds to stop the contractions ( still gets them once in a while) and also gave her a shot in case she delivered early for the baby's lungs. They did some kind of test that can tell them if she will deliver early ( like maybe the next two weeks) it came back positive. Now from what the doctor says it is not postive that she will deliver but better to be safe than sorry they are keeping her for a while. I talked to her today and she said they may let her go home later depending on the next exam. As of Friday she is weighing in at a whopping 2 lbs 9 oz. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she decides to stay where she is....comfy and cozy. So that is what I've been doing the past couple of days....Hospital visits and lots of positive prayers. Sandy

Hi Sandy, thoughts and prayers are going out for your daughter, the baby and for your entire family. I delivered Anna at 34 weeks and she was very healthy and strong. I pray the same for your granddaughter. Technology is awesome now...they know what to do. Keep me posted. paula
