Where is everyone?
I notice alot of people are not posting as much as they use too. I still need the support of people and like reading what other peoples challenges are it helps me!! Am I the only one struggling with my weight? What am I doing wrong I need tips to get me losing again! I tried the liquid diet for 1 day and got an upset stomach bad I can't do that while I am at work!! hahah not good!! heheh I MISS EVERYONE POSTING COME BACK!!!
Hi Michelle, a few of the older people have been part of the banning that has gone at OH. Many have gone on to another site. DonnaMae is one of them. BTW she is doing wonderful and just got back from vacation seeing her family. She had plastics and has healed well. It is a shame to see the lack of people who have the experience. I have been posting on the WLS graduates board and the main board some. I also post on that other site, but can't mention it in fear of being banned as well. If you email me I could let you know.

I am here..
I struggle to eat enough, and drink enough, and excersize enough.....
I guess I have balanced it enough though, cause I have still been losing a little..
I bounce between 174 & 177 depend if I take my LASIX....
That's a loss of 184 lbs!! I'm pretty happy with that.. but could do so much better..
I dont dump, so have to be VERY careful of sweets..
I struggle also greatly from self image... REALLY still plays tricks on me... some days I feel fine other days I look at my thighs and feel I'm 358 lbs again......
This is an emotional rollercoaster so not easy..
When people comment on how great I look, and how I MUST feel so much better....
Sometimes I just want to punch them ya know??
I dont want to seem ungrateful, but this in NOT easy, and just cause I've lost a lot it is work.. BUT I am SO GRATEFUL for this tool and would do it again, if I had to in a heartbeat.....
I know for me, when I stalled, I added more protien & water, it REALLY helped kick start a loss again.. even at 22 months out...

I know what you mean I hate it when people compliment me and I still feel fat! I look down at my stomach and arms and is like errrr go away!! But I too am grateful for having the surgery it saved my life but excercising doesn't fix the skin!!! I can't get a tummy tuck because I am not having an issues with a rash or anything so they won't do it. Or a boob job unless I pay out of pocket.
I don't have access to my computer too much. the kids are taking classes to complete their masters and the classes are only offered on-line. So for a few more months I'll be not as active.
Yes, I miss Donna Mae and the others too that left for the other site.
I tried the other site but they are so mean there. I don't need that kind of stuff in my life. If you can't talk nice then don't say anything.
They will take a post from here and rip it apart. I'm sure this will be one of them. But who cares.
I'm still here. I never left.

I'm still around, Michelle. I checked in here a few weeks ago, and there wasn't much activity,so I only check back periodically to see if there are new posts.
My life has been going very well. I bought a motorcycle, which I'm thrilled about. I started a blog back in May.......... http://unicornshadows.blogspot.com . I had plateau'd pretty much since October, and then strangely enough lost another 3-4 lbs this month.
As far as struggling with your weight - the first questions to ask are always "what are you eating" and "are you following the pouch rules". If not, go back to basics. Make sure you're staying hydrated. Make sure that you're getting a good balance of foods designed to stay in your pouch as long as possible. Our honeymoon period is coming to an end since most of us are in the general vicinity of goal. I'm still about 20lbs over mine, but I'm guessing at least half that will vanish with plastics.

Hi BT what kind of bike did you get? I have a suzuki that I ride when I go with my DH. For work I take his bike a yamaha 1100 vstar- it is a much bigger bike and since I am on the highway for most of my ride it is much more comfortable. I love to ride, when I turned 40 it was a present to myself. DH had never ridden, so I told him either he could jump on the back or learn to ride beside me.
good luck
