hey, where did ya'll go?? Lets have an update... 1.Surgery type LAP/RNY 2. Starting weight/present/goal 325/195/180 3.Age at time of surgery 58 4.Greatest change since surgery. Healthwise, Im off all meds and feel great! No more edema! 5. Mains sources of protein now. cottage cheese, cheese, peanut butter, chicken, fish, atkins shakes occasionally. 6. How much water do you consume per day now? Not nearly enough! 7. How much and what kind of exercise? walking, but need to do more. 8 CLothing SIze at time of surgery and now 28-30, 12/14 9. Biggest challenge now Night eating. 10. Are you happy with your surgery outcome, and would you do it again? Absolutely and in a New York Minute!

1. surgery type Lap/RNY 2. starting weight/present/goal 303/172/160 3. age at time of surgery 34 4. greatest change since surgery no more foot pain/exercising regularly 5. main sources of protein now chicken, steak, cheese, peanut butter, shrimp, fish 6. how much water do you consume per day now? 80-96 oz 7. how much and what kind of exercise? mon & tues step aerobics tues & thurs weight lifting/firm it up class weekends walking/shopping 8. clothing size at time of surgery and now? 26/28 & 3X shirt, 12/14 & medium shirt 9. biggest challenge now? staying away from sweets....they are evil and I can't resist them 10. are you happy with your surgery outcome, and would you do it again? Yes Yes Yes a million times YES

1.Surgery type LAP/RNY 2. Starting weight/present/goal 358/183/185 3.Age at time of surgery 39 4.Greatest change since surgery. Feeling better about me, and able to walk & have fun with my kids !! YEAH SIX FLAGS! 5. Mains sources of protein now. Cheese, chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, and some protien drinks if in hurry 6. How much water do you consume per day now? Not nearly enough! At least try to get in 64 oz 7. How much and what kind of exercise? I love/have the eliptical only doing it 1 or 2 x's a week 30 to 40 min Ball excercises and weights at home... time varies.. Goal is to get in 3x's a week... still not there with everything 8 CLothing SIze at time of surgery and now stretch 30/32 Womens, as of yesterday got into size 10 STRETCH jeans.. although depending on the arms, I can get in a much smaller top 9. Biggest challenge now Eating enough....trying not to drink FRAPACCHINOS at Starbucks.. the Lite doesnt make me dump...LOL! 10. Are you happy with your surgery outcome, and would you do it again? OF COURSE !! Would't you be if you lost 175 lbs??? WISH I HAD DONE IT SO MUCH SOONER!!!!

helloooooo--- starting weight 288 current weight 138 - goal was 150 age at surgery 46 greatest change - so much energy main sources of protein - CHEESE, meat water - exercise clothing - was a tight 28, now a looooossseee 8 biggest challenge - night eating (surprise) but I now schedule 2 nightly snacks would I do it again ---- OH YEAH! 1.Surgery type OPEN/RNY 2. Starting weight/present/goal 330/200/180 3.Age at time of surgery 42 4.Greatest change since surgery. Healthier, smaller, more energy, look SO much better, higher self esteem 5. Mains sources of protein now. cheese, peanut butter, shell fish, Detour bars 6. How much water do you consume per day now? usually 70 oz a day..sometimes less 7. How much and what kind of exercise? walking, but don't do enough. Been cleaning my house to sell it and it took a LOT of muscles that I forgot I had! 8 CLothing SIze at time of surgery and now 30/32, 16 bottom, L top 9. Biggest challenge now the sometimes "graze monster" that likes to creep in and get me! 10. Are you happy with your surgery outcome, and would you do it again? Yes, yes and a triple YES! Still on lipitor and prozac. 5. Mains sources of protein now: fish, steak, eggs and protein bars 6. How much water do you consume per day now? i think alot. I seem to be always drinking water 7. How much and what kind of exercise? 3 times a week at gym but lately i've been slacking off. i do bike, elipical , weight machines and free weights 8 CLothing SIze at time of surgery and now 4X then and 16 now 9. Biggest challenge now Night eating. Me too. 10. Are you happy with your surgery outcome, and would you do it again? Absolutely and in a New York Minute! Me too.

Mains sources of protein now. Chicken and Atkins Choc Chip Granola Bars 6. How much water do you consume per day now? 64-72 oz 7. How much and what kind of exercise? Not much. Need to start - have lost a lot of strength with the loss of weight. 8 CLothing SIze at time of surgery and now 28/30 Now 6/8 9. Biggest challenge now Stress eating. Grabbing good choices, but I worry that I might start back with the bad choices. 10. Are you happy with your surgery outcome, and would you do it again? Very happy, although I sometimes still mourn the inability to eat whatever/however much I want. This surgery saved my life!

1. Surgery type Lap RNY 2. Starting weight/present/goal 265/127/150 3. Age at time of surgery 25 (1 month before I turned 26) 4. Greatest change since surgery overall confidence in myself even with things unrelated to weight 5. Main sources of protien now protein drink, protein bar, cheese, chicken, bison, peanut butter 6. How much water do you consume per day now? about 100oz 7. How much and what kind of exercise? 30-45 minutes of cardio (eliptical, stair master or treadmill) 3-4x per week 8. Clothing size at time of surgery and now? 28 jeans and 3X top then, 4 in ladies or 7 in juniors jeans and S top now 9. Biggest challenge now? Wanting to eat when I'm not hungry, especially in the evening. 10. Are you happy with your surgery outcome and would you do it again? Absolutely and in a heartbeat. Best thing I've ever done for myself.
