Gardening, yesterday..

Hi All, Well, I took advantage of our first "spring like" day yesterday and bought some shrubs and some flowers and put them in my front flower beds for "curb appeal" to help sell my house! It felt great to get my hands in the dirt of the earth and move it around and plant the flowers. Ah, spring is here! (I just hope we don't get a snow storm to kill them all!) The moving felt great, too. Worked muscles I hadn't in a while, too. With all of the hard, deep cleaning and throwing out that I've been doing, you'd think that I'd lose a couple of pounds, but, fat chance here! I do think I've lost some inches. And it's only just begun. This is all to get the house ready to market. Not packing yet for the actual move! Hope you're all having wonderful spring weather where you are! I hear ya ! I had the grandson out yesterday. He was riding his 4wheeler then we played with a ball. He kicked it and I tried to "run" after it which is something I never would have been able to do a couple of years ago...The whole time he was laughing which made me laugh. Then he helped pop pop turn the garden over to get ready to plant tomatoes... I'm glad he is home with his mom today...I was wiped out last night... Sandy

Hi Paula, It was such a beautiful day yesterday. My daughter actually raked up the front lawn. She wanted to buy flowers and plant them but we told her better not do it yet just in case of another snow storm. Since this winter has been so strange. I love this time of year. It makes me feel so alive and now I'm sure we all feel alive. What a difference this journey has made. Koukla

WOW Paula, you look gorgeous!! Love that new picture!! I havent been on here for awhile, although I do read all the posts. I was outside yesterday too, it was 80 degrees here. My plants are sprouting, the hyacinths are blooming and the rosebushes are greening up! I got so excited! Gonna go buy some stuff tomorrow. We have this new home and need so much stuff for landscaping, we barely got started on it last year. Gotta run, just wanted to jump in here!! Have a great day everyone! Blessings Betsy
