The office next to mine always has a candy dish that is always filled. His favorite vacation is Hershey Park Pa. I had avoided this for well over a year after the surgery but had been dipping in here and their lately. TODAY I WALKED AWAY..... I had actually gone into the office lifted the cover off the jar and paused and went running back to my office. It is the start to the last 20 pounds..... donna

I had to stop buying Triskets. I had convinced myself that they were low fat and ok. Then proceed to eat 1/2 box....

Proud of you!!!! I've been SO bad lately...Hungry all the time, can't fill up, touch something, think about it and take it anyways. I just downed an ice cream sandwich for breakfast! Something's going on in my mind that I'm not dealing with...it's always the way when I start to eat this way...it's our move coming up, too much for me to deal with right now... Keep up the work...Let's vow to take a chug of something calorie free instead of putting something into our mouth's. paula

The other day I got up and had 2 small pieces of Chocolate before I could even think straight. I know what you mean. The reason I posted was because honestly it was the first time I had walked away from something since Christmas. It was a little moment for me. good luck with your move I couldn't image having to move- just cleaning out my cellar was a hugh chore.... donna

There is a guy in my office who buys 3 boxes of Crispy Kreme donuts and puts them right outside my cube every Friday. Since I don't eat sugar I haven't had any, but frankly wish he'd find someplace else for them. My office is supposed to be ready next week, so hopefully I won't have to deal with the donuts for long. I'm finding eatting challenging lately. This morning I was up 6 pounds from goal. Yikes! That is 4 more than yesterday, so I know it isn't all "real" weight, but I've been trending heavier, I know I need to watch it, but am having trouble sommoning the energy to go on a major crusade. I'd really like to loose 8 pounds from my weight this morning. I was thinking today that perhaps I could add 10 minutes to my cardio work out and try to concentrate on avoiding carbs. Lately, I just can't say no to bread. I do think it is interesting that a lot of us are in the same boat. It is so helpful having this group of folks who are at the same stage post op...I wonder if it is psycological or physical or a combination of both that this seems to be cropping up now. Certainly we can all eat more than before. -- physical. Most of us have also had the weight loss slow or stop--kind of like the end of the amusement park ride. It's been a wild year and a half, new body, new clothes, lots of attention, many other new situations for many of us. Now things are calming down. There are still some of those old issues hanging around--I still like to eat and I'm still single..... I don't know, the answer, but I'm glad you all are here....Thanks!!

I can eat up to 12 ounces of food and my weight has been mainting ( When I do something different i start to lose more. ) I am happy at my weight because im still a full woman. Not a boney sickly woman. I have curves and meat on my bones. I guess this is how it will end up for me. I eat anything i want. I do not worry about carbs. I just eat like normal. I do stay away from sugar as much as i can. But i do not deprive myself from anything. Take care barb

That is very cool. I'm a little jelous that if you change up your routine you still loose. I'm not there at all. I do think there is something to not depriving myself. That will just make me want to eat more. Have a great day!

Here at my office they always have donuts or something on Fridays. last week the one sales woman brought in Panera Bagels- they were to die for. I ended up having 1/4 of one plain with out even toasting it. I can't believe how many of us are in the same boat. The eating issues didn't go away with the surgery- hopefully it will be better. donna
