I can't seem to help it any more. I am always hungry. I will eat until full- way past the amount everyone else seems to be eating and then 20 minutes later I am hungry again. Believe it or not the more heavy protein I have the less I can eat and I seem starved shortly after... help I will have steak- 4oz_+ then vegetables + then salad. I don't drink with meals. I don't know....It just doesn't stay with me. donna

Glad to see your post Donna,,cause Im there with you! Ive really been stressing about it too!!! Im seriously thinking about fasting a day to get some of the junk out of my system, Im thinking its maybe carbs that are causing it, or maybe just plain boredom. i dont know, if you find an answer, please share!

Morning Heidi, that seems like a small amount of food to me. Here is yesterday. am: 2 pieces of chocolate- don't usually do this they were sitting there. Dunkins donuts large decaf Breakfast: Kashi crunch cereal 1 cup with 1/2 cup lowfat milk another cup coffee Lunch: 4 oz pork with 1 oz cheese, 1/2 cup applesauce, 1 12 cup salad (spray dressing) 1 1/2 cup fresh strawberries. another cup coffee Dinner: 1 cup ground pork, peppers, onions and 2 cups pineapple Whipped cream and 1/2 cup chocolate chips 1 cup popcorn grand total was 1448 cal, 132 carb and 109 protein I suppose if you took out the desert stuff and one cup of coffee that is close to 300- cal. But I was hungry still. thanks for the help I am back on fitday trying to make this work again. donna

Morning Betsy, I am thinking of cutting out all the carbs again. I have gone back to having a protein drink in the morning. I know that I am adding the calories, but I need to start some where. I think boredom is a big part of my night time eating, but when I am in the office I am so busy and still am thinking about food. Let you know how I make out thanks for the support donna

I'm pretty much there too. Although I'm not usually physically hungry. I'm having some stress and want to eat more. But, I definately don't stay full that long. I eat a lot too.

Hi there, I understand the hunger thing, as well. I've discussed this with my sister, too. She's almost 7 years out and faces the same thing. We can only eat a little bit at a time, but then, later on maybe an hour? we're hungry again! Of course, I tend to drink liquids all the time, water, s.f. tea, s.f. lemonade, etc. That most likely doesn't help, since it pushes the foods on through.

Thank you so much Donna for the post! I've been off the forum for a couple of months and just realized how much I miss the support. I am so totally there with all of you. I am hungry all the time and can eat carbs like there is no tomorrow. I've been afraid to ask the questions for fear that I'm the only one who gained weight during the holidays. I was actually a little below goal running between 132 and 135. Today I was 140.5 CRAP! I baked during the holidays, stayed away from the gym so that's how I got to where I am today. So scared of gaining my weight back. Anyway, sorry for rambling! I've been back to the gym for a couple of weeks now and I've gone back to basics and am using FitDay again to watch my intake. But, man am I hungry. Thanks again for the post and all the comments of support. Regards, Sydney
