Hi all, I am finally home and well. Surgery for Tummy tuck, hernia repair and boob lift was on Monday Jan 8. All went VERY WELL. Surgeon was very good. I have had little to no pain( Unbelievable to me!!) and am finally home. I am having problems posting from home computer: Yes, I drove to work this am to get a handle on emails). But truely: NO PAIN!!! It feels kinda tight and stretchy and at time the wound burns a little. The biggest issue is the lower back pain: YES, lower back pain. Ya gotta walk a little hunched over and boy: the strain on the back!! YUCk, but a little heating pad and tylenol and I am just great!! I can not believe how easy this was. And I was so worried!! I am sure I am BLESSED!! I had to stay in hospital so long due to drainage. I live in Germany and their drains are attached to this pint size heavy plastic bottles and they will not release you until drains are out!! SO, WHile I was pretty ready to go , they could not until draining slowed. I am so happy with the tummy. The boobs are in the right place, gotta settle a bit, but gosh, I had forgotten they were supposed to be up there!! SEriously, I am just doing great and appreciate all the support from you all. So: next plastic surgery person: Ask any questions. I promise answers. And yes, I know everyone is different and in Germany they do things differently, but HONEST: NO PAIN!!! Hugs to all and I will keep you all updated. Jacqueline

I'm SO glad it went well for you and I am jealous!!! my boobs hang down so low, but no insurance to cover plastic surgery, so I am stuck where I am...but that's OK...it's wonderful to be so thin and to do whatever I feel like doing: this morning I start a kickboxing class! can't wait. Congratulations on getting through this so well... take care.. Pam

Hi Jacqueline, Happy to hear that you're home and feeling fine! WOW, no pain? You're lucky. I know some that were so hunched over and in pain from the pulling... I'm jealous. I don't need much of a tummy tuck, but I do have a "pouch" there that I'd like to see gone and things "pulled" tighter. And, the boobs need to be lifted, that's for sure. After two kids and losing 130 lbs, they're really facing south and are FLAT! Did you have an implant put in? I think I'd need a small implant, too, if I had anything done. But, no $$$ to cover those costs just yet. Gotta start saving or rob the kid's college fund! *just kidding* Take it easy, you still had surgery, you know~ Paula

Dear Jacqueline, I have been checking everyday to hear from you! I am so thankful everything went so well. You young girls are so lucky - heal so fast!! I am seriously thinking of the tummy tuck, well lower body lift, but as much as the boobs need it, I won't do them. I would like a neck tuck!! I may go see the plastic surgeon in February or March. Oh, I do have a question. It's probably too soon to answer this, but I woud be curious as to if you lost any weight, or how much fat they removed? Do you know? take care of yourself honey, and check in when you can, but don't make a trip to work to do it!! love donna
