pray for my daughter
My daughter is 7 months pregnant and friday I had to take her to the hospital and they admitted her. She started contracting and they said that her kidneys have fluid in them more than normal. Her white blood count is up also but they can't seem to find out what is wrong with her. Yesterday she started spotting and last night she started throwing up, I had to work today so her boyfriend is up there with her. He just called me and said that she was contracting again and bleeding more and he told the nurses either you get a doctor in here or I Will go find one for her. So I waiting to hear back from them before I Start rushing up there. I am trying to remain calm and not make things worse because I know everything will be ok but I am still worried for her. The baby's heartbeat was really good but its her that I worry about because she is my sick one, there is always something going on with her. I could leave work to go if Ihave to but I am training someone so I am trying to stay here as long as I can. I sent the next best thing to me and thats my best friend to go up there and help her out so that makes me a little more confident to know that she is up there with her until I can get there.
Hi Michelle,
You are in my prayers as well. I'm sorry to hear this! As Barb said, please be careful on your drive and give your daughter our best wishes. Is this her first child? When I was pregnant with my first one, I got toxema pre-eclamsia. I couldn't stop throwing up and not knowing it, my blood-pressure spiked and they had to induce labor before I stroked out. Tony was 6 weeks premature. Anyway, I was wondering if that was a possibility with her. God bless you all bunches.
Hugs,
Kelly
Hi Michelle,
Prayers and good thoughts being sent your, your daughter's and your grandbaby's way.
I'm glad that her boyfriend is vocal enough to speak up and get action done. That's the only way...
I hope that they find out what's going on and can stop the contractions. How many weeks is she? I delivered two preemies successfully and both were very healthy and came right home soon after...Technology is amazing now...If, the baby is born, early, that is. Let's pray they can keep her from having a premature birth.
MEdicine is also so advanced that they should be able to keep her on bed rest and calm things down. The most important thing right now is to keep her calm and at peace. Not a lot of stimulation. Relaxation techniques that keep her deep breathing.
Keep us posted., OK?
Paula

Please stay as calm as you can, your daughter will be needing you as soon as you can get to her. Keep us informed as to how she and the baby are doing.
