Hows your water?

Mine is up to 96 oz now I also lost 6 of those 10 or so lbs I gained when I went off the lasix I think it may be helping that I pee every 30 min now...lol Plus I woke up Tuesday morning craving water, not like when I was diabetic or dehydrated and "needed" water, it just tastes really good to me the last couple days. It's been 6 weeks since Thanksgiving time to get refocused on our healthy habits again ! Water,protine and movement. This pregnancy may modify the way I have to handle a few things but I will still be here doing the whole motivation thing (thought you'd get out of it huh? hehe) I can still drink water, and eat healthy(plus some carbs)and keep moving(just have to keep my heart rate around 140), and If I can do it so can you! I've been (not really craving) but feeling like I "need" a lot of water the last few days. It's all of the salt from the holidays, I think. Time to get back on track....and gulp away. Paula

Water has always been my hardest thing, but Ive upped it and lost 4 pounds in three days!! WOOHOO!! And like you, I have found myself actually looking forward to it! Who wouldda thought!!

2:30 p.m. and I'm at 55 oz so far - I'm planning on getting up to about 100 oz by bedtime tonight - I have my fingers crossed I need to get my ass moving tho - I am thinking of going for a nice long walk after work today since it's so gorgeous out (55 degrees here on long island) - it will kill several birds with 1 stone - sun, fresh air and MUCH NEEDED exercise! hugssssss....Linda

you guys are all so good!! I haven't accepted the challenge yet -- does that excuse me!! I have heard that the more water you drink, the more you crave it. love donna

Shelly, You are just so great!! Congrats on the water and loosing 6 more pounds. I have lost two over the holidays which is a record. I had been stuck for months at 160, now at 158. I usually drink about 80 oz of water a day plus others liquids but it get more difficult when I am not working?? Strange, huh, The weekends are the wors****er days!! I am still running 3-4 miles a day, but Mon have surgery and will be not allowed to exercise for up to 4-6 weeks!! I do not know how I will handle that. May be able to begin walking after 2 weeks(hernia repair, Tummy Tuck, and breast lift). Best wishes to keep up the moving thing. I will work more on my water. Thanks for motivating. Jacqueline
