January already?

Hello all and Happy, Happy!! I cannot believe how time has flown away!! I cannot believe it is Jan 07. I cannot believe that in 5 days, I will be in surgery for a tummy tuck, hernia repair and breast lift!! It is costing me a bit( insurance will not cover anything) but I desparately need it all done. I am hoping you all will be sending me your thoughts and positive healing energy as I am trying to only miss two weeks of work. Cross your fingers, say your prayers, whatever it is you do!! I had an interesting Holiday as I got a last minute flight from Germany to Florida to be with Family... Now I remember why I live in Germany!! My poor parents did not even notice I have lost 115 pounds!! I saw them last year Feb(06) and they did not even say a word!! YIKES. on the other hand... my 6 year old adorable niece did notice(saw her last Dec 05) and had much to say!! What a sweet child! I got to go to the beach for a day and then right back home to Germany!! My sister remains a close support and it was worth it to see her and her three lovely daughters( We went to the beach one day and sister and I shopped one day) Ok, I will stop here!! i've been so worried about you!! I haven't seen you post in like forever. I am so excited for you Jacqueline about your surgery. I am going to be going that route myself (except the breast lift). And defintey prayers will be sent to you honey from me! Please please please post as soon as you can, I'll be real concerned. So the parents didnt come through with much to say. I hate that. I remember the first time I sent a picture to my mom she came back with something like 'well it wasn't a full length picture so I couldn't tell much'. Hello - I'd lost a ton of weight. finally when I did see her she noticed!! But it's hard when you have expectations and they arent lived up to. Could it be their age? Did they not approve of the surgery? I'm glad you back honey. Sure missed you. Now why couldn't you have come to D.C.!! Happy New Year to you! much love donna
