Sorry I have been away ...
WOW -- fantastic!! Oh SS - I am so happy for you. I know how badly you want this baby. Okay, out with my crochet hook. Now should I wait to hear the sex and make a blanket in a boy/girl color, or should I go generic in color?? Let me know -- I'm anxious to get started. Look forward to doing that for you Shel. You're special to me.
Take care of yourself. This is always a hard time emotionally for lots of people, and with your mom's anniversary of passing, that has to be hard. My friend's husband died last Saturday, very unexpected, and I feel so sorry for her, for of course the obvious, but also because it was so close to Christmas and now every Christmas will be the anniversary. Puts a downer on it.
let me know the color scheme, but I'll pick it out and surprise you, just girl colors or boy colors or whatever colors!!
love

Hi Ma,
Or should I say Grand"ma" hehe.
You should make the blanket in whatever colors you want. We are annoying alot of people but we decided we did not want to know until the baby was born what the sex was.
My aunt was having a fit cuz now she has no way of knowing what to plan for a shower,
She wanted to have it a couple months before the baby came. I explained to her that with her new granddaughter coming in June it would be the last thing on her mind and besides how neat would it be to wait till after the baby was born and and then give the baby it's first "birth" day party. Now she is all excited again.
If we do know before Sept what the baby is it will be by mistake.
I was kind of down the morning of the 22nd but it helped alot hearing everyone get excited and tell me how happy they were we got what we wanted for Christmas.
Hugs
Mamma SS
It's going to be a Full week the first week of Sept
I was joking with a friend and said wouldn't it be cool If I could have the baby on the 5th and then I would have my b-day the 4th, the babys b-day the 5th then my surgaversary the 6th, and she said no I know how you are about numbers so the baby will have to come the 2nd so it would be 2,4,6th
Lucky hubby now he doesn't have to shop for Christmas or my Birthday...lol
Hugs,
Shel
What a fantastic christmas present. I am so all for a on line shower. I wish I could knit, but alas I have two left thumbs. Shel I know how much you want this, it is so very awesome...... Keep us all informed, just assume this baby has a boat load of aunts and of course gramma donna....
On a side note DH and I were told we couldn't have kids so we bought a small town house and had dealt with it. Then low and behold I got pregnant, twice.....
My little darlings are now 14 and 16. It was and is the best thing in my life. Every day I appreciate that we almost didn't have them. All right maybe not every single day.... some days are more of a challenge than others.
in the mean time enjoy yourself and don't be so strong that you wont ask for some special treatment, you deserve it.
