Ok ...getting kind of slow on this board....
I got on the scale this morning and it said 230..... after seeing 225 for a while I guess I got "comfortable" and started not doing the right thing. How about everybody else ? What have you been doing ? I know I haven't been walking...I don't want to go out in the cold Any ideas ? It's too cold to even go down my basement where my gazelle is....I know excuses, excuses....Some one give me a swift one in the butt !

Hi Sandy, well it's not a kick in the butt, but it is loving support to you. You know, as Shannon pointed out this week, we have been on this journey for 15 months now. And it's easy to get back in our old not so good habits. But we made a commitment. I remember when I was having this surgery, my surgeon said 'you have to promise me you'll exercise 6 days a week and that's not an option' and I said 'if you help me take off 100 lbs I will do anything'. Well guess what. You're right, it's cold, I still have problems with my knee as far as doing any exercise, and I have gotten, well what's the word, lazy!! But I am a realist and I know that now with the holidays is not a good time to really get on a big program. It's defeatist. But I will after the New Year. But until then I am going to do a tv video of something, just to keep on it. I have it. I can go into old habits.
So you're not alone. But the game is not over, and we have to keep playing. So hang in there Sandy, and do a video with me!

Exercise is key. Cold or hot. Holiday or not. I walked 3 miles at 6 am and it was 19 degrees...which for the coastline of NC is VERY VERY cold...like record-setting cold for December.
I'm still losing...I've lost 2 lbs since Thanksgiving Day...
I'm not bragging...I just want to encourage y'all to get moving, get moving, get moving!
