THANKSGIVING

Hi all,
Since Thanksgiving is this week, I thought it might be good for all of us to check in with what we are truly thankful for. I am the first to complain that the scale has stopped moving down or complain about this and that and I forget all the blessings in my life. SO: I will go first:
I am thankful to have great health
I am thankful to have family far away but just a phone call away
I am thankful for a great job that affords me the ability to take good care of myself
I am thankful that I get to see true Patriots at work every day keeping us safe
I am thankful for a country that allows us to disagree peacefully
I am thankful for ALL of the folks *****ad and write on this forum
I am thankful for LIFE.

There is alot I am thankful for. Most of all I am thankful for my family
my husband for being understanding through this last year.
My Children
Ashlee- My sweet daughter who is my pride and joy
Justyn- My precious little boy who gives me great hugs and kisses everyday
My Brothers/Sisters
My brother Josh(21)-Who makes me proud b/c he is such a good father to the sweetest little girl.
My brother Joey(33 exactly one yr younger than me to the day)-For being a great single father for almost 5-6 years and finally getting married to a wonderful woman
My SISTER Renia-(39) For being my sister and my best freind. FOr being brave this year even though she found out she has a rare disease. For working hard at a mans job and for raising 3 girls on her own.
My brother Carmen (41)- for being a great listner and a great brother.
My brother George (42)- For being a great brother, a great hugger, and He is the closest person I know to god... studying to be a preacher.
My SISTER Josie-(44)-She lives 10 hours away... for being my sister and best friend... for being their even though she is far away.. always listening when i need some one to talk to.
OF COURSE MY MOTHER:
I am so thankful for my mother, I am thankful that she is in my life and that she loves me so much even after all these kids... My mother is my hero!!
Last but not least:
I am thankful for all my september board freinds. I am glad that you are all apart of my life, my fears, my mistakes....
Also for this surgery that has changed my life.
I'm thankful for life...good bad or ugly, I have life and I try to remind meself to be thankful for that each day.
I'm thankful for family, neer far,online,passed on and yet unborn.
I'm thankful for the 230 lbs(even if i am at a standstill....again!) I have gotten to lose and the health I have gotten back.
I'm thankful that my husband has gotten to come home to me and our family.
I'm thankfu for the family support system that this bored has grown to be, I don't think any of us could have been as succesful alone..

Hi Jacqueline, there are so manythings and people I am thankful for this year it is impossible for me to list.
I am thankful for my family who is so very supportive of me, yet is honest enough with me (my daughters) to tell me to get over it when I'm whinning about something,
I'm thankful for you and all my friends on this board,
I am thankful for my health and yes even thankful for my new knee!!
I am thankful for our country and especially thankful for all the wonderful servicemen and women that are defending us every day.
I am thankful for Giant grocery store where I have ordered my complete Thanksgiving dinner and have to do nothing but pop a turkey in the oven to heat and heat side dishes in the micowave, sit down in front of the TV and watch movies with my husband!!

This is a very good post Jacqueline. I have been very down the last couple of months and this is going to make me think of al the good thngs in my life.
I am thankful to have three very healthy, happy and beautiful children
I am thankful that I have a husband who has loved me through the good and bad and has supported me the last two years since I was hurt at work(and I have never heard him complain once)
I am thankful for allthe service men and women who are protecting us and our country.
I am thankful for Dr. Hill who has been right there for me through this journey and never second guessed me.
I am thankful for all the people on this site who have given me courage and peace when I needed it and are there everyday when I just need to talk.
And for the first time in a very long time I am thankful for the life that God has given me and the life that my husband and I have created for our family.
I hope everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving and that everyone has as many things as I do to be thankful for.

morning Jacqueline and thank you for posting this - it's made me think.
There is nothing that compares to how thankful I am for my 2 incredible daughters - they have grown into absolutely wonderful women and I love them with every beat of my heart.
I am so very thankful for Dr. Ahmad and thank God that he sent him to me...my life has changed so much and he is my angel and I am so healthy!
I am thankful for my 3 best friends in life that have been there for me for 30+ years and have never said they've had enough of me.
I am thankful (believe it or not) for my divorce - it has made me a better person and has given me strength I never knew I had within myself.
I am thankful that I have an absolutely incredible job that pays my bills and affords me the ability to take care of my children when they need me and keep a roof over my head.
I am thankful for the freedom we have in this country because of the incredible men and women that have volunteered to protect us and keep us free.
and lastly but by no means least - I am thankful for all of you on this forum - you listen to me whine and rant and don't tell me to go away ... you've instilled an amazing amount of motivation in me and I aspire to each and every one of you.
