GAS?

Ok, I've been having a lot of gas lately. I'm not eating all that much differently, although perhaps more nuts than usual. Anybody have any recommendations on how to make this stop? Courtney RNY 9-27-05 298/164

Courtney, I'm not sure, but it seems I've heard something good about Gas X? I think that's the name. Sorry I can't be more help. I think this is definitely one of the big downers of this surgery!! Have you added more dairy? I think that makes it worse for me. Hope you don't work in a cube!! love donna

Dairy...hmm. I do eat a lot of dairy...but I always have and this is just recently that I've had this problem.....Hmmmmmm

when you figure out how to make it stop I would appreciate knowing...I am having a terrible time lately and I don't know why...it seems it's worse now than it was right after the surgery hugssssss...Linda

Yea it is weird I never had a problem until now.

I have horrid gas...but it doesn't start until I get on my bed in the evening to watch tv. It drives my husband crazy! There's nothing I can do for it. My doctor doesn't like me to take gas-x, (which I used to take) cause he says it may inflate the pouch too much. So, I just hold a small pocket sized pump spray bottle of odor neutralizer and spray it as it comes out! (I know, too much info!) Phewwwww..... Paula

Funny. It doen't seem to smell to bad, but i've alway had a bad sense of smell. But it is just no fun. Hopefully it will go away

Courtney, I noticed the same thing lately. My famiily can't stand it. But it's new. and it starts around 5:00 in the afternoon. how about yours? Love to hear other posts for this. Koukla 338/187/?

same here...far worse than it's been ever since WLS.
