simple challenge

I want to post a simple challenge. For today only pick one thing that you need to accomplish and come here a brag about it. If you thing is to drink all your water and you do, but end up eating cookies in the mean time oh well ... good for you for drinking your water. Then pick another thing for tomorrow.... etc. This way we have positive reinforcement on the good we are doing. For me I usually elliptical for 45 minutes with a 5 minute cool down. I struggled through and had to convince myself every 5 minutes to just make it another 5. I managed to make it all the way to the end of my work out.

Hi Cutie, I didn't see this until tonight (I've been busy - what a concept!!), but my one thing is I did my physical therapy exercises and didn't cry!!! And I've only taken two vicodin so far. Yeaaa for the druggie!!! Serioulsy, what I did today was (and I didn't even see this challenge) try to eat more at meals. I am not eating a cup of food at any given time but I did try to increase. This is a problem for me!! Honestly, I think I have a problem cause I have no interest at all in eating. It's a chore to me. love donna

Great Challenge Donna, Let's see: Today Nov 14 I will drink my 64 oz of water but not all at once. I am great at getting it in but usually 32 oz before 600am(already did today) and then 32 oz at another sitting. I will sip the rest of the 32 oz so I don't pee it all away!! Jacqueline

Yesterday I went back to basics...I know I was slipping and with the holidays coming there was no room for that! I got in 100 oz of protein - most of it was from protein shakes because that's what works for me - I only had 1 cup of coffee (w/ protein) - I drank 50 oz of water - Wednesday after work I will be going directly to the gym, not passing GO and NOT collecting $200 - I NEED to do this. I have my surgeon's support group meeting tonight so that will help a little also - I am going back to where I was after surgery with a soft and liquid diet - I am eliminating all the bad stuff from my body effective immediately! I have gone thru my house and tossed ANYTHING that isn't good for me - it's back to basics with NO excuses Love, Linda
