So I know that most of us had gotten into a rut and were struggling to find out ways back. My way back started Monday. When I stepped on the scale on Sunday I was up to 172 pounds from a low of 163. I was devastated. My pants were now to tight as well. I felt like a complete failure and envisioned myself back up over 200 by next week. Monday started my commitment back. For the first time in months I worked out. I was logging back on to fitday, getting in protein, water and vitamins. The results... not only did exercising and water give me the ability to poop again.... (sorry) but as of this morning my weight is back to 165 and I feel 100% better. So it seems that we still have what it takes to make the scales move. For those of you struggling, start by looking over what you were doing early on. I actually read my profile and went back on the calendar for fitday to see how much exercise I was getting and what I was eating when I loosing was at the best. Thanks to everyone for helping me find my way back... donna

hey donna, that is exactly what I have been trying to say - we still have our tool, we have just become lazy and need to get back to basics and use it!! Good job cutie!! I'm proud of you. I am going to do fitday, too. Right now I'm not really exercising other tha physical therapy but hopefully will start back up soon on my little routine. But yes you're right, we can lose what we gain!! We just need to get back to basics!! love donna

Yep, I was in a rut too. I was stuck between 149 and 152 for weeks and weeks. Now that my TT and BR are 5 weeks away, my surgeon told me the more weight I lose now the happier I will be with my results, so that really kicked my butt into gear! I weighed 147 yesterday, a new all-time low! My goal is to be down to between 141-143 before my surgery, and then hopefully he will remove the 6-8 lbs he estimated and I will be at my new *revised* goal weight of 135. My original goal weight was 140, but I think I'll be happier if I'm 5 lbs less than that. So I've really been watching what I eat and trying to get more protein in. It seems weird to be dieting, but it is so much easier to diet now than before because of this powerful tool we now have! Oh, and HUGE thank you to Paula for showing me how to water load, that has been key! Good luck to all of us 280/147/135
