P.S. I'm struggling very hard to NOT beat myself up over the high calories and carbs but I think thats part of the head game so I plan to try this for 2 weeks and see what happens.

OK,
I am not so good at keeping track of calories, carbs and Fats, but Ya both gotta know: PROTEIN, PORTEIN PROTEIN and Water above all else.
I get between 80-100 grams of protein a day: NOT an OPTION!!! If you eat protein first, who cares about the carbs? String cheese has 8 grams of protein in one of those little itty bitty things and only 90 calories if you buy the 2% low fat ones!! Consider these as a snack. I probably get about 1300-1500 calories a day. AGAIN, who cares as long as the PROTEIN is between 80-100. Shelly, the Protein is more important than the carbs so honey, don't be so worried about the carbs. (I guess I should say, in my body: Carbs are not so important!!) I mean this to support you girl, You are doing great with 014 grams of Protein. It takes a lot of work but I know you can do it!! You have some so far....Keep truckin' girl. Hugs, jacqueline
Hey Shelly, I just started back with fit day this morning. I have decided that I was most successful when I used it and followed my wls plan to the ninth degree. So I am back.
I do know that yesterday I followed my eating perfect except for about 10 peanut m&m's. My son handed them to me late last night and I just ate them not giving it a second thought, but I am not beating myself up over it. I just need to learn to look and think about anything I put in my mouth.
I will all the stats tomorrow.
I have now exercised 2 days this week. yahoo

It depends on what types of carbs you're getting...are they from "white" foods that are bad, like potatoes, bread, etc...or are they good carbs from fruits, beans, sweet potatoes, etc???
I know some WLS patients that need the carbs. My dietitian wants us to have a well rounded diet that includes carbs...One of my friends has to eat 100gms of carbs a day. Otherwise, she's weak and shaky with hypoglycemia.
