Tuesday's Oprah

I just saw an advertisement for Oprah on Tuesday - it's all about WLS and gaining back the weight... I'm going to record it just so I can become angry! hugssssssss....Linda

Well, Oprah has made it very clear that she's totally against WLS...so, I can see why she'd put a negative spin on it. Is Sharon Osbourne (Ozzy's wife) going to be on, too? She's having her lap band removed because she can't stand the restriction of the band making her throw up and getting sick from over eating. SHe's gained back 15 pounds recently and wants it removed so she can do weight loss the "psychological" way. By going to therapy and figure out why she overeats obessively. Whatever... So far, this is the best thing I could have done for myself. It's a proven fact that there will be a slight weight gain after two years. The graphs and studies show and prove it's so. But, if we work the program and exercise, we don't necessarilly have to fall into that stastic.. Paula
