Hey Barb, It is so good to hear from you. I thought of you a lot this past month. You have been through so much and I know you have struggled with depression. I also remembered about being a machinist, I find that women who work the trades tend to understand the men relationship things differently. The very first shop I worked at I was 18 years old, I walked in and there were nude centerfolds hanging up all over the place. The darkroom that ended up being mine was littered with magazines and the rest room -a shared one- was disgusting. I have learned to swear like a truck driver when needed, drink like a fish, and speak softly when provoked. I have stood at 5'8 150 lbs (back then) nose to nose, with men over 6' tall with much weight on them. These changes to girlie girl are hard. It isn't that I don't like it. I am enjoying shopping now. I like to have my hair done and makeup on. It is just such a different life. I am used to dealing with guys who **** each other off and then get over it. Maybe the next day at lunch over a pint. With women friends it is different. I have to watch what I say- everyone seems to talk a lot and it takes so long to figure things out.... who knows maybe with the weight loss I will grow some girlie brain cells.... LOL Thanks so much and hope things are looking up for you as well. d

This whole thing is a " JOURNEY". I have some people GLAD for me, and other ladies STARE at me... I really felt self conscious, thinking I STANK or something.. I asked some of te ladies I am comfortale with, and they say I look FANTASTIC, and those ladies are JEALOUS!!! I have what they say, a hourglass or pear shape, and people I guess like that... They say I have no tummy (they dont see me undressed do they?), and look great.. I have this one lady that goes by my desk and says " I HATE YOU".... It REALLY began to bug me.. I finally asked her... Why do you say that?? She looked smaller than me... SHe says.. I am TRYING to be YOUR size.. ok What size are you?? She says she was a 16... WELL.. I said, you are a SUCCESS!!! You are MY SIZE!!!! She looked at me, and said.. well but you are shaped differently and look GREAT!! hmmmm... The men that used to talk to me when I was in training in Deember, now stare at OTER aprts...hmmm.... One is VERY vocal about it... Part of my shape is cause I am a 42-34-46, I wear a 38F bra.... I hope to get a breasst reduction to help my back problems.. who knows what will happen then.. LOL!!! So ya see.... it's a " JOURNEY" we all are learning... oh... I have been SO BAD at going shopping for clothes.. I NEVER liked to do itbefore.. Now it's FUN!! BUT VERY ADDICTING!! Tanya 358/209/185 5'6"

Hey thanks for the support. You remind me of a woman I work with. When I was heavy I used to look to her and wish I was her size and had her attitude. She is a red head and wears the greatest boots. Her passion in life. She to has wonderful woman curves. I am now smaller than she is but she still kicks a@@ with her curves. In fact I think she looks better than most of the woman here. -- we have some real skinny bit@#es. by the way Marilyn Monroe was 5'5.5" tall and was said to wear a size 16..... not a bad comparison.... I also can't believe how far you have come. You look so good it is amazing. thanks again donna
