one year update and best compliment ever!
Ok I went to my one year and had blood work done. Im a little late in posting its been a few weeks or maybe i did post and this is a repeat. lol meeting myself coming and going. My counts were all in the normal range except b12 my doc said you can do an oral supplement or a shot. I opted for the shot. Ill let you know after a couple of months if i notice a change. He said my protein couldnt look much better which was a relief thats the one i worry about that and the iron. Ive lost 160 lbs woohoo!!! I would still like to lose 15-20 more but figure if i dont im pretty happy here.
Ok the best compliment ever. I go to support group every month and there was always this one girl that i was thinking wow if i can be as successful as her that would be great. Last month was her last meeting as we are a military bunch and they were moving. Well at thursdays meeting I had two people say their goal was to look like me. I cant even imagine anyone wanting to look like me. Who would have thought that someone would want to look like me!! I almost cried. I have been at the point where i dont see the different changes anymore and as others say here they still see the fat girl. I too see that girl somedays. Somedays i see the thin one. I was so flabbergasted that i forgot to say thankyou I need to say thankyou when people give me a compliment. Note to self say thankyou lol.
I start a different job this week. I was working 4 am till 12:30 or later getting up at 2:30 every morning was a killer on the family time. im ready for a change excited to do something different.
I want to say a big thanks to eveyone here. You have all been such a great support system. We are a lucky bunch to have each other. I gush about all of you at my other support group.
